You are applying for the position of Purchasing Team Leader for company CEA . This position is located in Carrum Downs.
The Position
You will oversee purchasing personnel. Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services required to achieve customer satisfaction in the Melbourne Production area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ordering of materials required for manufacturing, ensuring value for money, fit for purpose, and quality control measures are taken into account.
- Ordering of subcontracted components, ensuring value for money, fit for purpose, and quality control measures are taken into account.
- Ordering of outsourced services required by manufacturing.
- Ordering of parts and services required for maintenance.
- Ordering of goods and services as required.
- Ensure all purchasing is in accordance with CEA policies, delegations, and quality standards.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
About You
Good organisational and communication skills.Minimum 10 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering environment purchasing role, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchasing leadership role.Competent in the use of ERP software.Competent in the use of Microsoft applications including word and excel at an intermediate level.Understanding of Quality Management System.Ability to work autonomously, as well as a team.Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments.Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – BaselineWhat we offer you
