Job descriptionTHE OPPORTUNITY As a Mobile Case Manager, you will provide high quality intervention to injured workers and employers through personalised face-to-face assistance.This role will enable you to facilitate effective workplace based co-ordination of a timely and safe return to work that benefits an injured worker’s recovery and helps employers manage their worker’s compensation obligations.This will be a full-time 12 month contract position based in the Sutherland Region YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Pro-actively manage rehabilitation providers and the review / approval of rehabilitation plans Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand (including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations & responsibilities) Collaborate with case managers / claims specialists, liability specialists & other technical and support experts to manage a portfolio of claims Conduct community based visits inclusive of but not limited to worksites or medical clinics on initial triage of a claim and at significant milestones during the life of the claim ABOUT YOU Strong Rehabilitation / Return to Work knowledge and experience is ideal Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Exercise Science) is desirable Allied Health background is desirable - understanding of medical terminology and injury recovery timeframes Knowledge of the NSW workers’ compensation legislation and regulations Effective listener and conflict resolution skills. Ability to understand the needs of people recovering from a physical or psychological injury and knowledge of what is important to maximise recovery and return to work Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, written and verbal proficiency Own vehicle with a 5 star ANCAP rating, insurance & current unrestricted NSW Drivers License WHAT WE OFFER We stand together as equals.
