Founding Partner / Head of Commercialisation & Partnerships (Part-Time, Equity-Only)
Location : Sydney, NSW (Open to other locations for the right candidate). This role is for a highly execution-focused partner who is ready to invest experience and time (approximately 16 hours per week) into a high-potential, founder-led venture in exchange for substantial equity ownership.

- Current Status : Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is under development, ready for the pilot phase soon.
Responsibilities / The Role
Lead the commercial arm of a high-impact tech venture by building key relationships with universities, professional service firms, and early-stage investors to drive the platform's initial pilot and growth.
Market Validation : Secure the core set of initial partners—universities, investors, and service providers—required for a successful pilot.Commercial Blueprint : Establish initial pricing models, client user journeys, and pitch materials for future funding rounds.Revenue Trajectory : Set the foundation for all future revenue by securing the very first paying platform user.Who We're Looking For (About You)
This is an opportunity for a seasoned commercial leader ready to be a true co-founder. Your motivation must be driven by the vision and the value of your future ownership, not a salary.
Proven Track Record : Demonstrable history of developing strategic B2B partnerships, navigating complex sales, and securing pilot deals within enterprise or sophisticated client environments (e.g., universities, institutional investors).Past Experience Running Your Own Business and Exiting : Previous experience as a founder who has successfully grown and exited a venture is a significant asset, demonstrating full-cycle ownership and risk tolerance.Domain Expertise : Direct experience in the innovation ecosystem (tech transfer, VC, or university commercialisation) is highly advantageous.Self-Driven & Motivated : You are exceptionally driven to succeed and do not require day-to-day management to hit critical milestones.Mindset : A strong self-starter and executor who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by a high-risk, high-reward equity proposition.Critical Year 1 Deliverables (KPIs)
These deliverables are crucial for achieving vesting milestones :
University Partners : Secure pilot commitments from 1-3 universities to supply innovations.Investor Partners : Secure pilot commitments from 5 key investors for innovation funding.Expert Onboarding : Onboard 50 skilled commercial professionals (fractional C-level) for the pilot.Service Providers : Secure pilot commitments from 3 commercial service providers .First Revenue : Define the commercial pipeline and secure the first paying platform user .The Commitment
