About Newcastle Private Hospital

We are a 189 bed acute private hospital facility co-located on the John Hunter Campus at Rankin Park. The hospital has 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit.

We also have a cardiac suite including a cardiac catheter laboratory and a 16 bed Coronary Care Unit. A private maternity suite including 6 birthing suites and a special care baby nursery is available for families in the Newcastle region.

Newcastle Private Oncology Centre provides specialty care for individuals and their families / carers undergoing all aspects of cancer treatment and care with both an inpatient unit and day infusion lounge.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Midwife to join our team. We are looking for an experienced midwife, who is committed to the delivery of woman centred care in the antenatal, intrapartum and post-natal periods. You will have the opportunity to work on our antenatal ward, in our Maternity Assessment unit, our Birthing Suites, Postnatal ward, Cesarean lists and / or in our beautifully renovated Special Care Nursery.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA / ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020- 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
