Quality Assurance Manager

Our client is a well established food manufacturer located in the North West Suburbs of Melbourne.

The Role

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be leading quality initiatives and ensuring compliance with multiple food safety standards and customer requirements. In this role, you will provide guidance and leadership to the production and operations teams. You will lead the Audit program, maintain the certifications for the site and execute the site quality management system.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Quality Management within a high care FMCG Manufacturing environment.
• Experienced in HACCP, BRC, SQF and customer standards.
• Extensive knowledge of Quality Systems and Food Safety programs.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to drive change and meet challenges with a positive attitude and deliver consistent, decisive messaging.
• Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to uphold quality standards when necessary.
