About the Role

This newly created Assistant Category Manager role offers the chance to work within a high-performing commercial team, supporting on two of Australia’s largest retail customers while taking ownership of key strategic channels. Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, you’ll :

• Support category planning and execution for Coles and Woolworths, assisting with range reviews, promotional planning, and insight-led recommendations.
• Own the Independent Grocery and New Zealand channels from a category perspective, driving tailored strategies to unlock growth opportunities.
• Translate shopper and market insights into actionable category plans that enhance visibility and performance across key categories.
• Partner closely with sales, marketing, and supply teams to deliver compelling, data-backed solutions that strengthen customer relationships.
