Employment type : Full time temporary opportunity, up to 30 June 2027 (35 hours per week)

Salary : $113,574 to $125,720 pa. + super and annual leave loading

Role Description

As the Aboriginal Service Support Specialist, you’ll deliver personalised support to vulnerable Aboriginal people, working within established program guidelines while remaining flexible to individual and community needs. In the Services Our Way (SOW) program, you’ll work closely with clients experiencing complex challenges, as well as local service providers and community networks, to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to support.

What You’ll Do

• Work within a team responsible for delivering tailored support to vulnerable Aboriginal individuals and families in targeted locations.
• Establish trust and work with vulnerable clients to identify and respond flexibly to individual and family needs within defined program guidelines and in partnership with other service providers.
• Consistently evaluate individual practices to ensure alignment with program guidelines, identifying areas for development and fostering a culture of support and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across service providers and the AHO, engaging in localised networking opportunities.
• Maintain an understanding of regional issues that may impact on the program outcomes.
• Respond to varied community and client needs while balancing competing priorities to meet client and program needs.
