We are seeking a motivated individual to join the Crew Resources Team as a full-time Crew Rostering Officer in Sydney. Commencement dates will be discussed with the successful applicant.
Reporting
This position reports to the Crew Resources Manager.
Position Responsibilities
- Preparation and publication of flight crew rosters in compliance with the relevant aviation regulations and the relevant crew industrial Agreements
- Monitoring and reporting on the operational status of crews for the purposes of roster preparation
- Oversight of compliance of all crew currency, training, check and licensing requirements to ensure that the operational status of crews is maintained
- Liaison with the check and training team for the planning of all training requirements of the roster
- Construction of crew tours of duty, whilst ensuring maximum crew utilisation and cost-efficiency
- Control of flight crew annual leave rosters
- Other duties as instructed by the Crew Resources Manager
Selection criteria
Knowledge of CASA crew duty requirements and limitationsPrevious experience in airline operations idealExperience with Merlot airline operations suite or similarPrevious experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Bargaining AgreementsPrevious experience working in high pressure environment with limited supervisionExcellent communication and organisational skillsStrong track record of problem-solving skillsWillingness to adapt to an evolving work environmentConditions
