Supervisors, Team Leaders & Plant Management - A.I.R Recruitment

Our client is a well-known market leader in the manufacturing industry.

Due to growth, we're currently seeking an Production Supervisor to join their team in this exciting role. Within this role, you will be responsible for the supervision of operating and maintaining Production Plant and Equipment to ensure that product quality and production efficiency targets are met. This will include :

• Start-up and Shutdown of plant and equipment
• Monitoring processing of product
• Supervising operators
• Ensuring efficient processing
• Load scheduling and loadout of product
• Cleaning and maintenance of housekeeping standards
• Reporting of concerns to relevant departments.

What we're looking for :

• Experience in the manufacturing industry highly favourable
• Tertiary qualifications favourable
• Forklift licence favourable
• Drivers licence
• Passion for continuous improvement to ensure the highest level of safety is achieved
• Strong and ethical leader with good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a dynamic workload within given timeframes.
• Excellent time management skills without compromising standard, service, or quality.
• Manage and build positive relationships (internal and external)
• Maintain confidentiality with regards to all tasks.
• Respect the values and diversity of others.
• Act decisively, honestly and with integrity at all times.
• Ability to work in pressure situations with competing workplace priorities.
• Ability to travel as required
