Assistant Coordinator - Bray Park

We are seeking a passionate and qualified educator for the Assistant Coordinator role at Holy Spirit Outside School Hours Care based in Bray Park.

About our Service :

Since 2006, Holy Spirit Outside School Hours Care has been an integral part of the Holy Spirit Parish and school community.

Our service offers care for up to 135 students from Prep to Year 6. We're proud to offer engaging before and after school care and vacation care programs that blend learning and play to help every child grow, discover, and thrive.

About the Role :

This is a Permanent, Part-time position working 28 hours per week , Monday to Friday (split shifts).

You will be assisting the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service. Your responsibilities will include :

• Assist in the planning and delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
• Participate in professional and personal development
• Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services

Job Requirements :

• Diploma in Children's Service / Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Experience in OSHC or a similar field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• A genuine passion for creating a positive and enriching experience for children.
