Job description

We are seeking to establish a pool of Secondary Generalist Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

We are looking for exceptional educators who ideally possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and are committed to supporting their students to achieve excellent educational outcomes. Suitable applicants would be committed to improving outcomes for every student, every day, through our whole‑school approaches using evidence‑based instructional strategies. They should promote, model, and maintain high expectations and adhere to whole‑school practices that are evidence‑based and supported by research.

Applicants should have proficiency in current and effective teaching practice and support the school’s strategic goals and directions. The positions will cover a range of subjects, including Maths, English, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Technologies, Arts, and Health and Physical Education.

We are seeking innovative applicants with high‑quality teaching skills and knowledge. Suitable applicants will ideally be committed to ongoing professional growth and development, support current whole‑school processes, and be collegial, effective collaborators.

Eligibility

  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
