Job Summary

We are hiring for multiple Business Process Analyst roles at both mid and senior levels, with opportunities available as fixed‑term contracts (FTC) and permanent positions. These positions can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. As a Business Process Analyst, you will support the Business Operations Teams and Management in defining and delivering a roadmap of continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll build detailed knowledge of operational areas, analyse and improve systems and processes, and play a critical role in implementing change, working with cross‑functional teams—including IT, Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations. Your success will be measured by efficiency gains, cost savings, and improvements to the Advisor and Client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse, review, and improve business processes and systems within Business Operations.
  • Facilitate requirements and data gathering workshops across Operations, Product, and IT teams.
  • Prepare business requirements documentation and recommendations to support change initiatives.
  • Elicit product backlog items and acceptance criteria for prioritised features.
  • Document and maintain business processes, process maps, and procedures.
  • Advocate for and enforce good process governance and quality documentation.
  • Lead process improvement activities, user acceptance testing, and change implementation.
  • Coordinate operational readiness, impact assessments, and staff training.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in a similar role involving business process analysis.
  • Experience supporting financial services business process and operations functions.
  • Working knowledge of business analysis methodologies, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Understanding of project delivery lifecycles and governance, including Agile (e.g., Scrum).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, influence others, and negotiate outcomes.
  • Resilience, continuous improvement mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
