Join to apply for the Associate, Regulatory Affairs role at Equity Trustees

Join our Corporate and Superannuation Trustee Services (CSTS) business as part of the Legal, Regulatory & Governance Advisory team. This is a dynamic and collaborative role that contributes to our regulatory affairs program, helping us maintain a strong compliance and governance culture across a complex and highly regulated trustee environment.

You\'ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external regulators to monitor regulatory change, provide insights and advice, and support the delivery of key client and Board reporting. This is a great opportunity to develop your regulatory and industry knowledge while helping drive continuous improvement in our approach.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring regulatory changes in the managed funds and superannuation sectors and advising on the impact to the CSTS business and its clients
  • Preparing regulatory updates and briefings for Boards, Committees, clients and senior stakeholders
  • Supporting responses to regulatory notices and requests
  • Assisting with APRA and ASIC interactions
  • Contributing from a regulatory perspective across internal projects and initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to uplift our governance and compliance frameworks

What You\'ll Need to Succeed

  • 3-5 years\' experience in legal, regulatory or governance-related roles, preferably in financial services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative approach with confidence to work across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
