Employment services is a peoplebusiness, and we focus on people first. Create relationships with yourcaseload and assist them to address non-vocational challenges with a view toimproving their employment capability. Be curious rather than judgmental toassess clients for non-vocational barriers to employment, develop a supportplan and coordinate appropriate referrals.

This position based in Geelong or Corio will serve the Barwon region. The rolerequires some travel, and telehealth servicing can be donebetween periods of travel. A company car will be provided fortravel.

Duties

• Assist clients with non-vocational barriers toemployment
• Deliver counselling support where appropriate ornecessary
• Develop tailored support plans in collaborationwith clients.
• Meet with clients regularly to review progress anddetermine further action required
• Work in partnership with Employment Services staffto enable employment outcomes
• Network and develop relationships with keystakeholders

What You’ll Need

A relevant university qualification(e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Rehabilitation Counselling) isrequired along with membership with the relevant professional association(AASW, APHRA, PACFA, RCAA).

Sureway Employment and Training leadthe industry in Workforce Australia Employment Services and DisabilityEmployment Services. We also extend to the delivery of training and healthsupports. This position requires thesuccessful applicant to undertake a National Police Check and relevantstate-based screens. Applicants also must have a driver's license and the rightto work in Australia.
