• What you’ll be doing :
• As a Field Service Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will :
• Get out on site -
• travel to site to provide hands-on support and assist customers with machine maintenance, breakdowns, diagnostics and warranty repairs.
• Take on the big jobs -
• carry out scheduled engine rebuilds, repairs, and general servicing.
• Keep the wheels turning -
• minimise production downtime by getting equipment back up and running quickly and safely.
• Deliver real value -
• provide quality service that helps customers boost the performance and reliability of their CAT gear.

• What you’ll need :
• A successful teammate will have experience in :
• Trade Qualification
• – Certificate III in Engineering (Diesel Fitter preferred). Other suitable trades include Automotive Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, or Mechanical trades.
• Industry Experience
• – Demonstrated experience with industrial engines; marine sector experience is highly regarded.
• Technical Skills
• – Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.

• – Dedicated adherence to workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

• – High level of initiative, reliability, and ability to work independently.
