The Role

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to work within our wider engineering team, reporting to the Lead Design Engineers. You will play a key role in developing innovative trailer designs that comply with Australian Design Regulations (ADR) & Performance Based Standards (PBS). Your responsibilities will include :

• Using the SolidWorks CAD package to design products for the road transportation industry.
• Applying design for manufacturing methodologies to ensure assembly feasibility and support strict tact time targets.
• Translating customer requirements into engineering specifications.
• Checking drawings, designs, materials, and equipment for conformity with project specifications.
• Prioritising and managing your personal workload to meet or exceed scheduling targets.
• Providing technical support for product-related documentation.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, design reviews, and problem-solving.
