- Requirements
- Hold AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Hold AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or equivalent
- Possess TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher)
- Have recent experience teaching in the vocational education and training (VET) sector
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Have current industry experience
- Understand RTO operational and legislative requirements
- Hold a current National Police Clearance and driver's license
Desirable qualifications and experience :
Strong industry and community networksExperience in training international studentsProficiency in using the online student management system, axcelerate2+ years of teaching experience in the vocational education sectorKey responsibilities include :
Delivering training and assessment to students enrolled in automotive courses through various modesConducting regular audits of workshop resources and maintaining workshop equipmentEngaging with industry to ensure industry currencyParticipating in assessment review meetingsComplying with training and assessment policies and proceduresMaintaining accurate student recordsLiaising with industry to assess current needs and ensure best practiceApplicants are required to submit a resume and cover letter. Pay : $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
