Base pay range : A$160,000.00 / yr - A$185,000.00 / yr

  • It is a permanent opportunity, offering up to $185k total package
  • Melbourne CBD - 5 days in the office initially, with a view to hybrid arrangements.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation in the insurance space, where you will play a key role in uplifting and enhancing the Salesforce platform.

As the Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be the Salesforce lead for Australia, acting as the go-to expert across development, integration, and solution design. Working with both onshore and offshore teams, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices are consistently applied.

We are looking for someone with a consultancy or financial services background and proven expertise in Health Cloud and Experience / Community Cloud. This role offers full ownership of the Salesforce workstream and the chance to deliver impactful solutions that support both the business and its customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Salesforce representative for Australia, leading technical delivery and governance
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, and integrations
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce Developers, both onshore and offshore
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and CI / CD pipelines
  • Deliver high-quality integrations with APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms
  • Stay across Salesforce releases and leverage new features for continuous improvement
  • 5+ years\' experience as a Salesforce Developer in complex environments
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce configuration
  • Proven experience with integrations (REST / SOAP APIs, middleware tools)
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills within technical teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Background in consultancy or financial services

    • Highly Regarded

  • Hands-on experience with Health Cloud and Experience / Community Cloud
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git, Copado, Jenkins)
