What You Will Do As The Director, Regulatory Design

Leading the design of energy regulatory frameworks, codes and guidelines that align with national objectives and market evolution. Providing expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on regulatory approaches, risks and policy implications. Collaborating with industry, governments and consumer bodies to develop and co-design robust, evidence-based regulations. Representing the interests of AER; building and managing stakeholder relationships with industry bodies, Government agencies (Commonwealth and State), consumer groups and internal stakeholders. Identifying, contributing and leading initiatives to improve AER workflows and processes.

About You

In order to succeed in the role, you will have to perform a range of duties not limited to :

Providing expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on regulatory approaches, risks and policy implications. Leading the design of energy regulatory frameworks, codes and guidelines that align with national objectives and market evolution. Representing the interests of AER; building and managing stakeholder relationships with industry bodies, Government agencies (Commonwealth and State), consumer groups and internal stakeholders. Tertiary qualifications in economics, corporate finance, law, public policy, engineering or related fields or equivalent experience.

Salary : $143,411 - $168,064 (plus 15.4% superannuation).
