About the Role :

As the Learning and Development Executive for Online Programs, you will work closely with the Learning and Development (L&D) and Learning Design teams, and are responsible for an extensive portfolio of online, virtual and workshop-based learning products, and CPA Australia learning content including the engagement and management of subject matter experts and content providers. You will hold responsibility for a range of member learning experiences, capability and content areas, to ensure the achievement of strategic targets relating to quality and commercial sustainability.

In addition to the development of high-quality learning experiences, a critical component of the role will be the management of each product, the overall product mix and product lifecycle, review of the external market and relevant data, and the implementation of new products and learning innovation, in response to market trends and member learning needs.

You will also be responsible for assisting the Learning and Development team in the delivery of key initiatives and projects as part of an integrated professional development offer.

This opportunity is a fixed term contract to 18th September 2026

About You :

You will come to us with current education or learning & development experience with knowledge of adult learning and learning design practice.  You will also bring :

  • Development of Learning & Development products and learning outcomes experience
  • Commercial experience eg : managing costs, contract negotiation etc
  • Demonstrated experience in product management
  • Current, broad industry knowledge of business and accounting and finance profession (valuable)
  • Agile Project management experience and / or Accounting knowledge will be highly regarded
  • Research, design, develop, launch and maintain educational products

Ability to use different research tools and methodologies

  • Scope, scan, identify, evaluate and define products effectively
  • Ability to develop a concept / idea into a product that ensures relevance and job applicability for members and delivers a commercial return
  • Seek and evaluate feedback of products for ongoing review and maintenance.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders to optimise learning outcomes
  • Degree in business, Education or Accounting with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
