Electrical Fitter / Electricians

The Company

Based in Laverton North, our client is a leading manufacturer of custom-designed electrical control power distribution equipment who supplies defence, medical and mining sectors. Working a 9-day fortnight and monthly bbq’s or lunch provided. Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to :

  • Control panel construction
  • Assembling of products according to design
  • Assembling and testing of switchgear and panel boards
  • Ability to understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings

    • The successful candidate will require the following attributes :

  • Electrical trade qualification
  • Strong understand of wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
  • Assembling and testing of electrical products
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
  • Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment

    • Hours & rates :

    Day shift hours : 7.00am - 3.56pm, 9-day fortnight

    Rate : $42 per hour + overtime + super + discretionary annual bonus

    You must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position.
