This role will operate predominantly in an Agile environment, and such will be required to support the technology capabilities to effectively deliver value to customers. This role is for individuals who want to develop their knowledge and skills in an area of specialisation, along with the desire and ability to learn across disciplines and lead engineering teams.

  • How will I help?

The main responsibilities of the role are :

  • Specify interfaces and translate logical designs into physical designs taking account target environment, performance & security requirements, and existing systems.
  • Employ CI / CD and DevSecOps practices ensure maximum leverage of existing platform services.

  • What do I need?
  • Credit risk domain knowledge in banking, finance or data products-based environment.
  • Rich experience in Erwin data modelling tool (Reverse Engineering, Forward Engineering, Complete Comparing, Generating reports
  • Conceptual, logical, physical and semantic data modelling
  • 3NF and Dimensional data modelling
  • Source to target data mapping.
  • Expertise in Teradata (SQL)
  • Hands-on experience of data engineering in big data architecture technologies.
  • Hands-on experience of Python, PySpark, SQL, Hive, HBase, Phoenix, Shell Script, control-m, bitbucket.
  • Must have good experience in code management and code deployment process (CI / CD).
  • Experience in cloud would be beneficial.
