Overview

Senior Development Manager role based in Bringelly, NSW. Our client is a Western Sydney private developer delivering landmark residential, retail, commercial and industrial projects. The opportunity is to lead a diverse portfolio across residential, retail and commercial sectors, delivering end-to-end on long-term developments that contribute to the Western Parkland City.

Base pay range : A$225,000.00 / yr - A$280,000.00 / yr .

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a diverse portfolio of developments across residential, retail and commercial sectors. Immediate responsibilities include the planning and delivery of a 350-lot residential project with integrated housing and open space, the delivery of a commercial development in the local area, active involvement in joint venture projects (including a major estate development with a future town centre), coordinating the design and consultant team across subdivisions, liaising with builders, contractors, authorities and JV partners, and preparing feasibilities, cashflows and project reports. You will also contribute to pricing, marketing and business development strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning and delivery of a 350-lot residential project, including integrated housing and open space.
  • Oversee the delivery of a commercial development in the local area.
  • Active involvement in joint venture projects, including a major estate development with its future town centre.
  • Coordinate the design and consultant team across subdivisions, dwellings, and infrastructure.
  • Liaise with builders, contractors, authorities, and JV partners.
  • Prepare feasibilities, cashflows, and project reports.
  • Contribute to pricing, marketing, and business development strategies.

About You

We are looking for a hands-on, commercially astute professional who thrives on large-scale, diverse projects.

  • Experience : 10–15 years in property development with proven success across residential, retail, and / or mixed-use sectors.
  • Expertise : Strong knowledge of subdivision design and delivery, construction management, and project feasibilities.
  • Mindset : Hands-on, accountable, and collaborative with ownership of project outcomes.
  • Skills : Excellent stakeholder management, financial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex approvals and delivery processes.
  • Edge : Retail and medium-density residential experience is highly regarded.
