Delaware North Australia is looking for passionate, skilled

Kitchen Stewards
to join our culinary family at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on a casual basis. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen; contributing to the smooth functioning of the kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.

Ensure WHS compliance by conducting temperature and quality checks and managing cross-contamination.

Support kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace.

Perform hands-on cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and waste management.

Show flexibility in working various shifts over a 7-day roster.

What will you bring? :

Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand is preferred.

Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain one.
