Location : Mornington Peninsula

Employment Type : Full-Time / Part-Time

About Us :

Tio Tapas Y Vino is a vibrant Spanish tapas restaurant and cocktail bar renowned for authentic flavors, warm hospitality, and a memorable dining experience. Located on the Mornington Peninsula, we are expanding rapidly and are looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our passionate team.

The Role :

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional service, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both our guests and team members. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
  • Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage reservations, floor plans, and guest seating to maximize efficiency.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Support the management team with inventory, stock ordering, and supplier communication.
  • Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant.

What We're Looking For :

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, café, or bar.
  • Passion for hospitality with a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Spanish cuisine and wines is an advantage but not essential.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
