About the Company and Role :

A well-established boutique law firm in Melbourne’s CBD is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their litigation team. This firm has built a strong reputation for its practical, client-focused approach and collaborative team culture. With a steady stream of litigation work, they’re looking to bring on a capable Legal Assistant who can hit the ground running and support a team of approachable, experienced lawyers.

Responsibilities :

Drafting and formatting legal documents and correspondence
Preparing briefs and court documents
Managing files, calendars, and deadlines
Liaising with clients, barristers, and court staff
Billing and general administrative support

Skills and Experience :

3+ years’ experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within litigation

A solid understanding of court processes and legal terminology

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

A proactive, team-oriented approach

Confidence in dealing with clients and external stakeholders

Experience with legal software (e.g. LEAP, Affinity) is a bonus
