Programmed Skilled Workforce are seeking confident and enthusiastic maintenance fitters to join their client located in the Northern Suburbs.

Our client is an industry leader in the FMCG packaging and production of cardboard for boxing solutions.

Detailed job description

This maintenance role will consist of fault finding and continuous improvement processes to identify weak points and ensure strict maintenance schedules are adhered to.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Preventative maintenance of machines on site

Repairing and fault finding on machines

Fault analysis of industrial packaging equipment

Completion of daily line set-ups according to schedule and standard set-up procedures

Follow all health and safety procedures

General maintenance, repairing and fabrication as required

Fitting replacement components from off the shelf stores inventory

Trade Qualifications (in engineering / mechanical discipline relevant to role)

Current Forklift Licence and / or Elevated Work Platform Licence

Mechanical aptitude

Proven Maintenance experience

Proven experience in fault finding

Good understand and compliance of OHS in the workplace

Ability to use power and hand tools

Have an eye for continuous improvement.
