  • is a family-owned and operated roastery located on the outskirts of the Yarra Valley. Our focus is on crafting high-quality, sustainable specialty coffee. For years, we've been supplying our coffee to local businesses, cafés, and homes. We are really excited about our new specialty coffee shop and retail space in Warrandyte where we share our passion for great coffee and community connection.
  • We are currently seeking an

    • experienced café manager
    • to complete our team—someone who is passionate about specialty coffee, highly motivated, and enjoys both brewing and engaging with customers. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of quality and customer service.
    • About You
    • Proven experience in a hospitality management role (specialty coffee knowledge is essential).
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • A warm, friendly personality and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
    • The ability to thrive under pressure during busy periods.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • A customer-focused approach, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable café experience.
    • A solid understanding of café operations, including inventory management and cost control.
    • A genuine passion for specialty coffee and a comprehensive understanding of coffee preparation techniques and equipment, with the ability to provide tailored advice on products and retail offerings.
    • Experience using a range of coffee equipment, including : La Marzocco PB, Mahlkönig E65S, Mahlkönig EK43, Breville Precision Brewer, Mazzer Robur.
    • Strong skills in both espresso and filter coffee methods (pour-over and batch brew essential).
    • Key Responsibilities
    • Oversee all day-to-day café operations, including rostering and stock management.
    • Monitor and manage social media engagement.
    • Drive sales, marketing, and community engagement.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by leading and motivating a passionate team.
    • Maintain consistently high standards in coffee and food preparation and presentation.
    • Serve as the Head Barista, leading staff while actively working on the floor, taking orders, and engaging with customers.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
