    • The Opportunity
    • KBR have recently been awarded several significant long-term infrastructure projects across Australia, which has created a range of new job opportunities. We are looking for a

    • Civil Drafter
    • to join our collaborative and diverse team in Melbourne. This is a great opportunity to work on some exciting projects and build a solid foundation for your future career.
    • Our civil team are a group of passionate and experienced transport specialists. This opportunity will allow you to contribute to the delivery of a variety of transport infrastructure projects for a number of key clients. Using MicroStation and OpenRail design software, you will prepare designs with a focus on cost containment, efficiency, profitability and project operations.

      You will also engage with and help develop relationships with internal stakeholders and key clients by contributing innovative ideas to the team and suggesting ways to improve quality and efficiency of our services.

    • Who are you?
    • As an individual you are excited by the prospect of delivering iconic projects and exposure to major transport infrastructure projects.

      In addition, you will have the following :

    • Hold relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering / Drafting or equivalent work experience
    • Experience in design and / or drafting of local Transport projects, including road and / or rail
    • Drafting experience using MicroStation (AutoCAD will be considered)
    • The ability to work alongside engineers and designers to prepare detailed drawings, utilising analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
