What You Will Do :

Depending on your role and experience, you will be instrumental in :

Leading Site Operations : Overseeing daily site activities, managing resources, and ensuring projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Driving Project Delivery : Supporting all aspects of project execution, including meticulous planning, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.

Championing Safety & Quality : Implementing robust safety protocols, conducting thorough risk assessments, and ensuring strict adherence to quality requirements and company procedures.

Fostering Collaboration : Acting as a central point of contact, consulting effectively with stakeholders, subcontractors, and design consultants, and preparing essential technical documentation and reports.

Monitoring Progress : Diligently tracking project budgets and schedules, preparing accurate claims and reports, and proactively identifying potential risks and opportunities.

Innovating & Leading : Providing clear direction to team members, seeking opportunities for value enhancement and process improvement, and proactively addressing challenges.

Building Your Foundation (for Graduates) : Gaining invaluable hands-on experience, mentored by seasoned professionals, to forge a solid foundation for a successful engineering career.

What You'll Bring to the Team

We are looking for individuals who embody dedication and expertise, aligning with our McMahon Foundations :

Relevant Qualifications : A degree or tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline (Civil, Environmental, or similar) for our engineering roles, or a construction trade qualification for our Site Supervisor roles.

Valuable Experience : For our experienced roles, proven experience in major construction & infrastructure project delivery (1-3 years for Project Engineers, 5+ years for Site Supervisors). Graduate Engineers should be recent graduates with an eagerness to learn.

Unwavering Safety & Quality Focus : A deep understanding of health and safety legislation and an unwavering commitment to quality assurance, reflecting our priority on managing environmental risk and meticulous planning.

Exceptional Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, from clients to our field teams.

Problem-Solving Acumen : A proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving challenges, committed to finding the most innovative solutions.

Software Proficiency : Competency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Professional Suite, MS Project) and a willingness to learn ERP systems and other project management platforms.

Essential Credentials : A current White Card, a current driver's license, and the ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearances.

What Will Set You Apart :

Specialised Project Experience : Demonstrated experience in projects involving significant bulk earthworks and / or waste facility construction / management.

System Savvy : Familiarity with ERP systems like Pronto or advanced project management platforms such as In Eight, Aconex, or Procore.

Proven Leadership : A strong record of effectively leading teams and driving project success, embodying our commitment to developing great roles and careers.
