- Purpose of Role
Convido is seeking an Operations Supervisor for its Perth, Australia operation. Reporting into the Managing Director, this role is responsible for day-to-day operations, apartment inventory, guest service and growth aspects of the Perth operation.
- Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Perth apartment accommodation operation.
- Engage with and manage all real estate and building management agents and companies. Responsible for sourcing and setup of new leased and managed apartments.
- Ensure compliance with state legislation, regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Primary on-ground interface with customers and clients. Resolve all customer concerns and address all feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Organizing and executing pre-arrival and pre-departure apartment inspections.
- Oversight and management of all suppliers including cleaners, laundry, maintenance, utilities and other.
- Management of all building, apartment, key, access and security matters.
- Responsible for ensuring apartments meet brand standards.
- Meet and greet of all guests upon arrival. Lead apartment induction process.
- In partnership with the national support team, responsible for inventory and revenue growth of the Perth market.
- Other tasks / projects as discussed and agreed.
- Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required.
- 2+ years of accommodation, hospitality, real estate and / or supervisor / management experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to effectively multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills.
- Demonstrates high level of personal energy and high productivity.
- Technical - computer skills.
- Repairs and maintenance skills are a plus, but not essential.
- Teaming - building relationships.
- Excellent consulting skills.
- Cultural Sensitivity / Ethnic Minded.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.
Please note, need for work outside of normal working hours is expected.
This is a highly dynamic and autonomous role, requires excellent self-management and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
