Job Description
In the position of Occupational Therapist , you will support injured or ill workers in regaining functional capacity and independence with their ADLs within the home and community. You will collaborate with clients, employers, medical professionals, and insurers to deliver evidence-based, goal oriented interventions.
We are flexible in being able to offer casual hours based on your availability up to FT casual work .

Key Responsibilities include :
Conduct comprehensive ADL assessments to evaluate an individual's functional abilities and support needs within the home and / or community to promote their independence.
Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals, and insurers to provide clinical updates and ensure alignment of rehabilitation goals.
Make recommendations for equipment, home modifications, or support services based on assessment findings.
Identify suitable equipment and service providers, including attendance to equipment trials where indicated.
Prepare timely, high-quality reports outlining findings, recommendations, and clinical reasoning.
Educate clients and families on adaptive strategies, energy conservation, and safe task performance.
Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to professional, legal, and ethical standards of practice.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement, participate in team meetings, and maintain professional development.
