About the roles
We are recruiting multiple Program Officers at the APS5 level for our Commonwealth Government client based in Canberra, ACT. The successful candidates will join a team that facilitates the legal conveyance process of transferring water entitlements from willing sellers to a central authority, ensuring the environmental health of a significant water basin is maintained.
An initial 12-month labour hire contract is on offer, with prospects of extension up to an additional 12 months. This role is full-time; hybrid working arrangements will be supported once the successful candidates become proficient in the role.
Please note : only Australian citizens with an existing Baseline (or above) security clearance can be considered for these roles. Duties : Accurately prepare conveyance documentation following a well-defined process.Provide high-quality and timely data processing services to inform relevant programs and policies.Prepare standard briefings for decision-makers.Liaise, consult, and negotiate effectively with internal stakeholders and legal service providers.Ensure all contract details and briefings are correctly entered into the system.Assist in managing a group inbox and maintaining information management processes. Requisite skills / experience : Demonstrated experience in program / project management and / or administration required (preferably within a government setting)Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, showing initiative and organisation skillsStrong writing skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesWell-developed communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team and independentlyAdaptability to changing priorities and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture Culture and benefits
