Purchasing Officer

Are you a talented Purchasing Officer with experience procuring Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) spares and consumables, seeking an opportunity to work in a dynamic business that puts "People First". In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the effectiveness of service delivery to MACA's valued clients.

The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for procuring OEM and non-OEM equipment, spares, and consumables in support of MACA's HME asset fleet. The Purchasing Officer will liaise with key internal stakeholders, suppliers, and dispatch teams to ensure cost effective and 'just in time' delivery.

• To be successful in this role, you will possess
• 2+ years' experience in a purchasing role, procuring mining related items and services, supporting mining and construction operations.
• JD Edwards experience highly desired.
• Experience in procure to pay (P2P) :
• Seek quotations.
• Process purchase orders resulting from requisitions.
• Check purchase requisitions for approvals and appropriate authority limits.
• Enter data into the purchasing systems accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Ability to monitor and resolve all reported discrepancies, overages, shortages, and damaged goods and / or materials.
• Experience in managing requests for credit.
• WA "C" class drivers' licence.
