We are currently seeking an experienced and energetic Practice Manager to join our team and help drive operational excellence while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively. This role requires excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills to oversee Dermatologists and staff while supporting the growth and development of our business.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage all business operations within the Practice, including but not limited to Human Resources, IT, WH&S, Insurance, financial management, and reporting.
Prepare and maintain staff / dermatologist rosters to meet practice needs.
Manage office systems and processes, including filing systems, office equipment, and office policies and procedures.
Monitor office suppliesinventory, place orders, and oversee approval processes for payments related to supply purchases.
Coordinate the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and termination.
Oversee the accurate and timely preparation and processing of employee and dermatologist payroll. Ensure compliance with wage laws, award interpretation, superannuation contributions, and tax obligations.
Maintain accurate employee records, including timesheets, leave balances, and pay rates. Liaise with external accounting firms.
Support budget planning and monitor payroll-related expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals. Assist in audits and payroll reporting.
Implement, update, and monitor practice billing to ensure MBS items are set up and charged correctly.
Organise staff meetings and any other meetings required by the Dermatologists.
Prepare and present regular reports as needed.
Cover the front receptionist role when required. (Currently 1-2 Days).
Maintain compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation.
