About Balranald MPS
The Balranald Multi Purpose Service includes 24-hour level 2 emergency and sub-acute inpatient services, residential aged care services, and a range of primary, community and ambulatory services. The facility consists of an Emergency Department with two resuscitation bays and one observation / safe room located within the Emergency Department. Inpatient beds available are 8 acute / sub acute beds including a palliative care and observation room.
The Residential Aged Care area has 15 high care places including four dementia specific and one respite bed. Residential aged care services are provided in an environment suitable for people with dementia. The Balranald MPS also has provision for three renal dialysis chairs.
The full range of support services such as allied health is available. These services are provided by visiting clinicians from Mildura, Swan Hill or Dareton. Medical services are provided by the town’s General Practitioner, whose offices are co-located at the MPS.

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification or willingness to undertake.Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person centred care patient care.Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait, Islander patients and families and employees to enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based best practice and its contribution to changing practice and policies within the organisation.Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.RuralHealthIncentives
