We are seeking a motivated and organised Facilities Coordinator within our Facilities team. This role is a full-time 9-month position, covering a period of maternity leave and expecting to start in mid-September 2025. This role is a SCHADS Level 4.1 ($ 89,374 pro rata), plus 12% superannuation, and enjoy a salary packaging benefits program up to$15,990per year. About the role As the Facilities Coordinator, you will sit within the Facilities team, reporting to the Facilities Team Leader, Operations & Contract Manager. You are required to support the wider team with adherence to GenWest Facilities operations and maintenance requirements, OHS requirements, and minimising risk for staff and victim-survivors during their time on site. This role is required to travel to our various sites across West Naarm.

Key responsibilities : Oversee facilities management at sites and offices where GenWest services are located, or sites as assigned by the Facility Team Lead.Emergency Management assistance and acting as a fire warden and first aid officer.Coordinate the delivery of low-level office maintenance, including responding to low-level issues such as light fixtures, water leaks, and other ad hoc office management issues, with the management of relevant trades.Ensure that Fleet is properly maintained, updated and occurs promptly (including annual registration processes and payment notification, regular servicing, and cleaning as per scheduled practices)Manage office and cleaning supplies, waste management, general building repairs, and security system and awareness.Participate in site induction for new employees, including the issuance of ID cards to new staff and how to use systems / tools, alarms, and building security.In conjunction with the Facilities Team Leader, plan, implement, and evaluate initiatives to improve GenWest facilities and operational systems.About you At least 3 years of operational and / or administrative experience.The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.With Drivers licence.Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office capabilities.Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.Working with Children's checkPolice check (and international police check if lived overseas for a year or more in the last 10 years)Experience working within a facilities role.Experience working within the community services sector (i.e. homelessness, mental health, family violence).OHS and Safety exposure.HVAC, security & facility system exposure.We are actively hiring for this role; applications will close on 15th July 2025.
