We are growing and currently have a position at Kawana Dental available. We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our busy, modern, and most importantly

Sunshine Coast practice.

About Us

We are a modern, 8-chair practice with all the toys, located just a few hundred metres from Buddina beach. We've been family owned and operated for over 35 years and are proudly one of the largest single dental practices on the Sunshine Coast. Kawana Dental is a leading dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and improving the oral health of our community. We take pride in our commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction, offering a wide range of dental services in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.

Sterilise and process dental equipment and instruments and adhere to infection control procedures.

Warmly greet and prepare patients for dental procedures.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.

Maintain accurate patient records and charts.

Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.

Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Smooth and efficient running of the sterilisation room, infection control and procedures.

Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

Dental 4 Windows experience a bonus.
