Labourer / Trainee Operator

Talloman receives animal by-products from abattoirs This material is processed to produce meat and bone meal, poultry meal, feather meal, blood meal, poultry oil and tallow. The site currently processes up to 3,000 tonnes of animal waste per week that would otherwise go to landfill.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is the perfect opportunity for an individual to develop and grow their career.

• Key Responsibilities
• Regular checking of machines during operation
• Exercise discretion within your level of skills and training
• Identify basic faults in materials and equipment
• Operate tools and equipment as and when required

• High risk forklift license
• Ability to troubleshoot and work safely under pressure
