Technical - Test Manager

Job descriptionDuties- Working as part of a dynamic ICT environment, the specified personnel is required, but not limited to managing and delivering testing services such as : Develop a comprehensive Test Strategy aligned with program objectives, defining objectives, scope, resources, timelines, and associated risks. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand testing requirements, priorities, and dependencies. Lead and monitor testing activities in a multi-vendor, multi-platform environment across various phases (Functional, Systems Integration, UAT, PVT, Regression, Automation, Performance), overseeing test planning, design, review, defect management, and environment identification. Allocate resources efficiently for test execution, including testers, environments, and tools, based on test estimates and activities. Create, review, and manage test artifacts (test plans, progress reports, closure reports) across all testing phases. Identify and mitigate potential testing risks and issues, ensuring the integration of mitigation strategies into test plans. Uphold the organisation's testing framework, collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure adherence. Provide leadership, share knowledge within the Project and Test teams, contributing to succession planning. This position may include supervision of staff. Professional / Technical Skills and Knowledge- Experience in Test Assurance Management within large and medium-sized enterprises, with a minimum of 5 years in the software testing industry. Experience with testing of legacy and modern SaaS based systems. Strong leadership experience managing Technical and non-Technical Test Analysts. Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-fit solutions promptly. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of clear and concise communication with diverse stakeholders. Diversity and inclusion are strongly supported at Peoplebank.
