Cnc Machine Operator

• MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate CNC Plasma Cutting Machines
• Set up and operate machines to cut and shape steel components per specifications. Flexibility to operate multiple machines.
• Material Handling
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
• Quality Control
• Inspect products for quality and adjust as needed.
• Machine Maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs with the team leader.
• Safety Compliance
• Follow safety protocols and report concerns or incidents.
• Documentation
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including material usage and quality control.
• Housekeeping
• Keep the work area clean, manage scrap metal, and ensure tools are returned to their proper locations.
• SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Qualifications
• Relevant CNC operating experience, with Kinetic machines being advantageous.
• Forklift ticket is advantageous.
• Experience
• Prior experience in steel processing or sheet metal workshop preferred. Knowledge of materials and metallurgy is beneficial.
• Skills
• Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Ability to support machine operations and maintain high performance standards.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Forklift ticket and overhead crane experience are advantageous.

Pay : $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule :

• Afternoon shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Overtime
