Phillip Riley has partnered with a hugely exciting client, revolutionizing technology within acoustics. The business develop acoustic technology for off shore examination, specifically for reef analysis, wind farm development projects and classification. The business are a true success story here in Australia, and they have been awarded and celebrated regularly.

Due to a new product release, the business are looking to set up a new production line in Perth. These are key roles as they look to expand their production and manufacturing capabilities in WA.

  • The Role
  • The electronics technician is responsible for the production, assembly and testing of complex electronics equipment. You will be part of an experienced team of technicians, with responsibilities centered around assembly, test and compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble sub-assemblies and final products using jigs, assembly aids, adhesives, moulding and soldering in accordance with Assembly Instructions.
  • Undertake calibration and testing of sub-assemblies and final products in accordance with Assembly Instructions.
  • Perform moulding operations, as well as process quality inspection of products before they are sent out.
  • Key Skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, focused on electronics and / or mechanical assembly and test.
  • An ability to test electronic modules, record results and analyze results and determine needs for adjustment and calibration.
  • A focus on high quality, precision and attention to detail and a willingness to learn the products in a specialist industry.
  • Basic computer skills, including excel, outlook and processing software.
  • The business are happy to consider any experience level, from junior through to more experienced engineers.

    The roles are paying a salary between $65,000 - $75,000 + super, with a 5% bonus scheme. These roles are permanent, full-time from their office in Perth.
