Base salary range : Level B, $113,934 - $134,824 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. About the area The Department of Accounting & Finance in the Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses as well as research-based doctoral degrees. About the opportunity Teach and mentor some of Australia's brightest students in a department committed to innovative and inclusive learning. Conduct high-quality research in sustainability, auditing, and digital transformation while collaborating with national and international experts. Build strong professional networks, influence policy and practice, and contribute to the broader academic and business community. About you Hold a PhD or equivalent in Accounting. Demonstrated research interest in sustainability (including sustainability reporting), auditing and assurance, management accounting, and / or digital transformation in accounting (use of AI and big data analytics for decision-making). Show evidence of an ability to guide the direction and supervision of postgraduate students, and be willing to supervise honours or postgraduate research projects. Demonstrated interest in teaching in the areas of sustainability, accounting information systems, auditing, management accounting, and / or taxation would be welcomed. Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
