Job descriptionABOU T THE ROLE Permanent Full-time position with a RDO per month Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital in the Engineering Department Responsible for on-going repairs and preventative maintenance of building assets & infrastructure Offer a flexible, organised and responsive service to consumers and carers Participate in the on call roster (1 week in 4) ABOUT YOU Trade based qualification required A minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities maintenance position (health care experience preferred but not essential) Current Victorian driver's license A working knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems and BAS controls is preferred (but not essential) Knowledge of maintenance related issues within a building facility Excellent interpersonal & effective communication skills A strong customer and team focus is a must An innovative, practical approach to maintenance problem solving Able to multi task job priorities Able to problem solve with a willingess to learn new skills ABOUT US Werribee Mercy Hospital is a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing Western suburbs of Melbourne. Our services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care. The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening or our new intensive care unit, additional operating theatres and the opening of two new wards, taking the total number of beds to 298.
