Mechanical Fitter

Due to the recent award of a 10-year Maintenance contract with Chevron, Ventia is seeking experienced & qualified

• Mechanical Fitters.
• The role will see you performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance across rotating, static plant and Mechanical equipment for ongoing maintenance as well as during Shutdowns. This full-time position will see you working FIFO from Perth on an even time roster.
• Requirements
• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
• Working at Heights (mandatory)
• Enter and Work in Confined Spaces (mandatory)
• High Risk License - Rigging Basic (RB) (mandatory)
• Dogman
• Current First Aid certificate
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical including D&A
• Current Drivers License
• Skills & Experience
• Experience in maintenance & fault-finding activities
• Experience in high tensioning and flange management
• Knowledge of hydrocarbon production systems and associated hazards
• Understanding of Gas compression & power generation systems
• Ability to follow process & procedures
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Excellent attitude towards health, safety & environment
