Salary package : $ 77,379 - $ 83,716 per annum (pro rata), plus 17% superannuation

The Position
The primary role of the Research Assistant will be to contribute to the research undertaken by Dr Olivia Evans in the area of attitudes and allyship towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia. The major areas of focus for the Research Assistant will be to provide administrative and research support to Dr Evans’ ARC funded Indigenous Discovery Project : Yana-Ngila-Ya (Let’s Walk Together) : Developing Pathways to Allyship with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples by Uncovering the Dynamics of Prejudice in Australia.
The Person
We're looking for a motivated and collaborative Research Assistant with a strong background in social psychology and a passion for impactful research. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience supporting quantitative research in social psychology, alongside proficiency in advanced statistical methods. We are seeking someone who thrives both independently and within a team, meets deadlines with confidence, and communicates clearly and respectfully with people from a range of backgrounds. A commitment to equity and inclusion is essential, as is the ability to foster positive working relationships in a cross-disciplinary academic environment.
