Full Time | $80,000 $100,000 + Super

A leading, employee-owned organisation in the Australian seafood sector is seeking a hands-on Production Controller / Team Leader to join its processing operations in a metro-based facility. Known for its commitment to sustainability and premium-quality food products, the business supports both local producers and international markets.

About the Role In this frontline leadership role, you will oversee daily production activities across a range of high-quality seafood productsfrom raw to cooked formatsensuring all operations are safe, efficient, and compliant with food quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a Safety-First Culture : Ensure adherence to workplace safety and security protocols.
  • Uphold Food Quality Standards : Oversee compliance with HACCP, SQF, and other critical control processes.
  • Meet Daily Operational Targets : Monitor productivity, resolve process issues, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement : Identify and escalate opportunities to enhance operations.
  • Lead a Diverse Team : Provide clear direction, coaching, and accountability across shifts.
  • Foster a Positive Workplace Culture : Lead with respect, professionalism, and fairness.
