Electrician

PARC Engineering are seeking experienced & motivated Electricians to join our local infrastructure team to assist with terminations, switchboard installations, commissioning and general electrical duties, as part of the new Rail Link as part of the Metronet Package.

This is a local-metro role working Monday – Friday (weekends as required) so you’re home every night.

Your duties will include but not limited to :

• Assemble, install, test & maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus & fixtures.
• Install switchboards, distribution boards, transformers & circuit breakers.
• Install conduits, cable trays & wiring for electrical systems.
• Route & secure electrical cables underground or overhead as required.
• Plan layout & installation of electrical wiring, equipment & fixtures according to job specifications & codes.
• Install ground leads & connect power cables to equipment.
• Diagnosis, testing & correcting of any electrical issues.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment &components to identify hazards, possible defects to ensure compliance of applicable codes.

About the role :

46.53 / hr + $3.50 / hr electrical licence allowance + site allowance + super + penalties
