Purpose of Position :

  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy for our brands (Dobla & IRCA) in the Perth market, reporting to the Head of Sales, to meet sales and gross margin objectives. Manage and build customer relationships.
  • Description of Main Activities / Responsibilities :

  • Implement the commercial strategy in Perth based on received guidelines.
  • Manage relationships with distributors and direct customers effectively, aligning with company objectives.
  • Develop and execute customer and regional plans.
  • Identify growth drivers for the territory.
  • Monitor and develop the distribution network within the area.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to distributors’ sales teams.
  • Coordinate with the Ambassadors Team to support customers.
  • Plan activities to boost turnover through product distribution.
  • Increase average customer turnover in sales and product mix as per guidelines.
  • Support new business development.
  • Monitor competitors and share insights with the sales team.
  • Manage sales forecasts for the portfolio.
  • Prepare periodic reports and attend on-site meetings.
  • Professional and Personal Skills :

  • Education : Preferably a degree in economics or equivalent experience; technical understanding of the food (pastry) field is appreciated.
  • Professional Skills : Excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, ability to acquire new business, analyze data, apply forecasting techniques, plan and meet objectives, negotiate effectively, and possess general knowledge of bakery, pastry, and ice-cream products, especially chocolate and creams. Experience in selling bakery products to chain bakeries is preferred.
  • Experience : Relevant sales experience in B2B food industry roles, specifically with IRCA / Dobla.
  • Behavioral Traits : Results-oriented, leadership qualities, customer-focused, problem solver, energetic, positive, proactive, sense of urgency, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Other Requirements : Knowledge of the territory and leading distributors, willingness to travel over 75% of the time, ability to manage collaborators / agents / brokers, and preferably experience in structured professional environments.
