In addition to the salaries listed above, the Department will contribute 15.4% superannuation.
Employment Type
Current ongoing APS employees - Ongoing and non-ongoing transfer opportunities may be offered, under section 26 of the Public Service Act 1999.
Non-APS employees and those that do not hold an ongoing role within the APS - Non-ongoing opportunities may be offered with an initial engagement of up to 12 months, plus one extension of up to 6 months (totalling a maximum contract period of 18 months).
Flexible working arrangements (such as remote work, part time work) will be considered on an individual basis, based on the operational requirement of the role and individual preferences

Eligibility
Under section 22(8) of the , employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS) unless the Agency Head has agreed otherwise, in writing. At PM&C to be eligible for a vacancy you must be an Australian Citizen on the date you are engaged / employed.
Successful candidates will be required to be assessed through our pre-employment screening checks, such as an Australian Criminal History Check. They will also be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance of an appropriate level for the role. At PM&C all employees must hold a Baseline level security clearance at a minimum, however some roles may require a higher level of clearance.
